Two dead, five injured in stampede at a luxury hotel in Delhi

Three people have died, six people have been injured in a stampede in the capital on Monday night, police said.

Police said they were investigating the cause of the stampede on the outskirts of the city.

According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), the stampedes started on the Arundhati Roy Chowk and were reported at around 11.20pm.

Two women and two children were taken to a private hospital, while the other three people were taken for treatment.

A man was admitted to the hospital.

The injuries were said to be serious.

Police said there was no official confirmation on the cause.
